How can we help?

Email us at hello@lessongarden.app. We're a small team and usually answer within a day or two. It helps to mention what kind of iPhone or iPad you have.

Getting started

Set up your year. The first time you open Lesson Garden, enter your first day of school, how many school days you need (180 by default), and which weekdays you do school. You can change these anytime in Settings, and add breaks and holidays there too.

Add your kids in the Students tab, then tap Add a Book. Enter the number of lessons (or switch to Pages), and choose how often to do it. Each option shows when you'd finish.

Common questions

We missed a day. What happens? Lessons that weren't checked off move to the next school day automatically, marked "Carried over from…", and the rest of that book's plan shifts later. At the top of Today, tap Skipped to keep it that way, or Done Friday (or whichever day) if they were actually done and just not checked off. To answer for one lesson at a time, swipe right on it.

My child worked ahead. How do I record that? Once today's lesson for a book is checked off, tap Did the next lesson too below it (or Read ahead… for page-based books and enter the last page they finished). You can also check off a lesson from a later day in the Week view. Either way, the rest of the book moves up.

A book has two parts, like 2A and 2B. When adding the book, tap Add Another Book to This Curriculum and list the books in order. They're planned as one year.

How do I share with my spouse? In Settings → Family Sharing, sign in with your email, start your family, then tap Invite Your Spouse and enter their email. When they sign in with that email, they'll be asked to join.

I didn't get the sign-in code. It can take a minute. Check your spam or junk folder, then tap Send a New Code.

How do I delete my data? Deleting the app removes everything on that device. To delete your Family Sharing account and synced data, email us from the address you sign in with. See our privacy policy.
