Privacy Policy

Lesson Garden is a lesson planner for homeschool families, made by Adeptware, Inc. ("we"), the makers of Transcript Maker. We treat your family's information the way we'd want our own treated: we collect as little as we can, we don't show ads, and we never sell your information.

Information stored on your device

Everything you enter (your children's first names and pictures, your books and lesson plans, your school calendar, and which lessons are done) is stored on your iPhone or iPad. If you don't use Family Sharing, it never leaves your device.

Family Sharing

If you turn on Family Sharing so both parents can see the same plans, we store:

• Your email address, to sign you in. We email you a one-time code; there's no password.
• Your family's planner data (the same information described above) so it can sync between your family's devices.
• Email addresses you invite to your family, until they join or you cancel the invitation.

Only people you've let into your family can see its data. We use these service providers to run Family Sharing:

• Supabase hosts our database and sign-in, in the United States.
• Postmark delivers sign-in emails.

They process this information only to provide those services to us.

Launch mailing list

If you sign up on our website to hear when Lesson Garden launches, we store the email address you give us and, if you choose to share them, your first name and how many children you homeschool. We use them only to tell you about Lesson Garden's launch and major updates. They're stored with Supabase and the emails are sent through Postmark. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.

What we don't do

• We don't show ads or use advertising or tracking tools.
• We don't sell or rent your information, or share it for anyone else's marketing.
• We don't use analytics that follow you across other apps or websites.

Children

Lesson Garden is for parents and teachers, not for children to use on their own. The only information about children in the app is what a parent chooses to enter, typically a first name. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Deleting your information

Deleting the app removes the information stored on that device. To delete your Family Sharing account and your family's synced data, email us at hello@lessongarden.app from the address you sign in with, and we'll delete it within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
